The buffalo, or "bison", is the largest land animal in North America weighing at up to 2200 lbs.! That's more than a ton! Like moose, bison are dangerous and unpredictable. But unlike moose, bison generally travel in herds and are of the "bovine" family, or the cow-kind. They also chew the cud like a cow. God gave the bison two coats of fur. The outer coat is shed during the warm summer months. Since they are of the "cow kind," bison can be bred with cows to create what is called "beefalo." Genesis 1:25 says "And God made the beast of the earth after his kind..." What we see today is a variety of species within a given KIND of animal, but NEVER a crossing over from one kind of animal to another...as evolutionists suppose.
