You
may be thinking, "Big Foot?!--but, isn't this legend and therefore unscientific?"Before
you pre-judge this topic, read on. Our presentations deal with present-day phenomena
as well as cryptozoological creatures that may or may not point to the Bible
being true in all of its statements. Although we've not seen concrete scientific
evidence proving the existence of a "Big Foot," the verbal descriptions
of sightings, as well as some unique pictures, cannot be lightly shoved aside
especially when one considers some important facts. The first fact we use is
that there are some very densely-wooded areas of our country that would make
a wonderful hideout for such a creature. We were in Yellowstone National Park
and saw heavily wooded areas where we sometimes were hard-pressed to see the
large animals for which we were searching. In some areas, large animals could
be just a few yards from the road and yet be hard to see because of the dense
forest. In 2005, we saw a moose in Colorado that stood watching me just a few
feet in the woods off of the road. I knew she was there, but I could not see
her very well. In the picture I took you cannot even tell she is there (see
right). Another fact we emphasize is that the 1996 Olympic bomber, Eric Rudolph,
hid out in the mountains of North Carolina for 5 years without being discovered.
If a human can do this, how much more potentially could an animal that lives
there? We have spoken with a Todd Jurasek and a lady named Carelene Johnson
who both claim to have seen a "Big Foot" creature, and they both believe
these are an unidentified species of ape that walks upright. You can decide,
but we avoid a mindset that says "if-I-can't-see-it-I-can't-believe-it."
Apes do exist, and there may be an unidentified species that remains undetected
by men.
