Important Points:

1.      The Setzers will arrive at your church on Friday of the week prior to the meeting.  This allows ample time for them to set up on Saturday.  It also allows for a VBS kick off (Session 1) on Saturday for 1st – 6th grades and a VBS staff meeting (about 1 hour).

2.      Jeff and Heather make their home year round in a 35’ fifth wheel that has slide outs on both sides (15’ width).  Check your facilities to make sure your connections are accessible and sufficient.  (The electric connection needs to be 50 amp / 220 electric service.)

3.      Knowing that the adults will reinforce creation truths to young people long after the meeting, we seek to minister to adults and teens as well.  Hence, Jeff is available to preach on Sunday (AM & PM) and Wednesday (if a morning VBS) while Heather conducts the VBS sessions.

10. FINANCES

a.      The Setzers come on a love offering basis requesting reimbursement for supplies purchased for the VBS.  If feasible, each church is encouraged to send a love offering before the summer begins in the amount of $100.00 – $200.00.  This will help the Setzers purchase the needed supplies and materials for the summer.

b.      It is requested that the VBS penny offering be designated to help with the 2011 February Creation Conference project sponsored by Creation Family Ministries.

c.      Checks for supplies or the Conference may be made out to:                                                                                                   Creation Family Ministries

(Please note purpose in the memo, “VBS” or “Conference”.)

d.      Please make love offering checks to:  Jeff Setzer

NOTE:  We recently were made aware through a CPA that a portion of the love offering check can be designated as housing allowance and that this amount is not taxable according to the IRS.
